Term 3 w/b 30-1-12 no matches - Winter break

There are no scheduled Bloor Homes matches until the season re-starts next week on February 6th 2012.

There are however, four remaining unplayed Round 2 ties in the Bloor Homes (Boys') Cup for which dates have yet to be set. There is also one remaining tie in Round 1 of the Bloor Homes Plate to be played.

If your school is involved in any of these Cup or Plate ties please be aware that in order to keep the knock-out competitions on track they must be played no later than 24th February 2012. If the ties are not played by this date then the secretary will determine the result by a toss of coin in accordance with competition Rule 10).

I would be most grateful if all school team managers contacted me urgently at swindonpsfa@tiscali.co.uk with the date on which their Cup or Plate match has been arranged.

St. Francis record their first league win with a 4:1 away victory over Oakhurst.

Mountford Manor move into second place after winning 6:1 in their derby match at home to Oaktree.

Bloor Homes' West League:

Even Swindon record first league win of the season with a 3:1 away victory against Haydon Wick.

As with previous seasons, I would be most grateful if the results are e-mailed to me at swindonpsfa@tiscali.co.uk. I  will endeavour to update the website daily, but this may not be always possible so please bear this in mind if you play a game early in the week but the result does not appear on the website until the weekend.

Fixture dates

I have tried to make allowances for the British climate by including two weeks at the end of the season for schools to catch-up with any unplayed league matches. Please note that the deadline for league results is 6 p.m. on Friday 11th May. The annual finals day will be on Saturday 19th May 2012.
