All schools were invited to enter a team into our premier competition for girls in either Year 5 or 6. Twenty-eight out of thirty-seven eligible schools wished to enter this season's competition.
As this number exceeded the maximum number of twenty-four teams a qualification round for the group stage was necessary. Eight teams were drawn at random (Greenmeadow, Haydonleigh, Oakhurst, Red Oaks, St. Catherine's R.C., St. Leonard's C.E., The Croft and Wanborough) and will play their qualification matches on or before 30th November (see below).

Each of the four winners of these qualification matches have been assigned to one of the four groups; A, B, C, or D along with the other twenty teams. The six teams in each group will play the others once in alternate weeks during January, February and March (see below).
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the quarter-finals knock-out stage. These will be played at the schools which came top of their group and officiated by a member of the Executive Committee or a person appointed by them.
The four losing teams from the qualification round will be joined by those finishing 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th in Group A. B, C and D and play in the Girls' Plate competition on the following dates:
